The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective Heavy Duty Robot Vacuum for mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it slightly more expensive than some homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand heavy duty Robot vacuum on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
